My name is Michelle Batton and I’m a 30-something, digital artist, wife (to John) and stay-at-home mom (to Andrew, Emma and Leah).   I was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin and moved down to Central Illinois back in 2001.  I am definitely a midwestern girl at heart!  We have a pet cat (Peanut) and four goldfish (Nemo, Coral, Dory and Bruce).

I have been a lover of all things arts-n-crafts ever since I can remember.  I love to try pretty much anything and everything and the boxes and piles of crafting supplies which I have accumulated bear testament to that!  Shortly after Andrew was born I discovered the world of digital art and began dabbling in photomanipulations and joined deviantArt – where I am now a senior member, although not as active as I used to be!

I was inspired to open my own shoppe here at MellowButterfly back in March of 2007 where my dA friends and I could sell our digital art resources.  But later that year, I stumbled upon digital scrapbooking and began designing digital products.  Now I am also an avid digital scrapbooker as well!

In March 2010, I took over ownership of Funky Playground Designs and my digital scrapbooking designs are exclusively for sale there!
